This is a page based on some of the workshops and talks I've given on fantasy, especially creating the fantasy world - landscape, religions, societies. Also what's hot in fantasy and what's not - what makes a good fantasy novel and what doesn't etc. While there's not much here at the moment, I hope eventually to add many more links. Well ... one day I may add more links! As of June 2002 I have so many projects underway I am afraid that this page may well be one of the forgotten casualties of war ... Some time ago I gave a talk to the Shakespeare Society here in Bendigo (I've since given abridged forms of this talk elsewhere) called Creating the Modern Epic Romance. It's a bit silly, but you might enjoy it.  Although I discuss this in Creating the Modern Epic Romance, here's some far more detailed ideas on how to create the fantasy world (I always start with landscape and work out when creating a new world).
